Facebook has certainly has taken over our culture in how we find out about things. Are we "too connected"? Some would say we are, especially those who aren't sure they want their parents being able to see their every move on Facebook.

Christopher, age 29, whose story I read on the air this morning, talks about the general "disccomfort" of knowing that your parents are seeing photos of you, comments to you and comments about you!

So that brings us to our TOPIC OF THE DAY: Should parents and children (regardless of the children's ages), be friends on Facebook?

Survey says MEN have about 5 different hairstyles and settle on their permanent look by age 32. WOMEN seem to have about 7 on average and settle much later on their permanent look. It was also stated that men would rather go gray that see a receding hairline.

It's a vicious cycle. Networks put shows on the air, don't give them a chance to find an audience or put them in a "NO WIN" time slot. Then they're cancelled and fans like you and me aren't happy!

Then comes NETFLIX and soon HULU + who figure out that they can score credibility points by not just showing re-runs of our favorite cancelled shows, but reviving these shows with NEW first run episodes. NETFLIX did it with "Arrested Development", not to mentioned creating their own original programming (House of Cards, Hemlock Grove). HULU + has tons of original shows.

TOPIC OF THE DAY! What cancelled favorites of yours would you like to see these streaming video services like NETFLIX and HULU + bring back?

I LOVE animals so that means I LOVE stories about animals doing amazing things!

Kabang is the name of a shepherd mix from the Philipines. In 2011, she jumped in front of a motorcycle that was about to hit two young girls. They were spared but Kabang suffered injuries that caused the loss of her snout and upper jaw. After $27,000 in surgeries in The U.S. she was welcomed home in the Philipines with a ticker tape parade!

Not All animal stories are this fantastic, but I'll bet you have a story about your pet or one you've seen.

Some companies will pay you for unused vacation time! There are times when I would have really liked that! Of late, I tend to want to take every day that's coming to me. You?

Now, some companies are saying that you can "buy back"  vacation for about the same as your daily salary?

Wait, if I've used all my sick days and vacation days, but I to have to be out for some reason, the company will dock me a days pay, which is exactly the same as me "buying" back a vacation day(s).
