As NASA looks towards a manned Mars landing, they are studying the effects on long term space travel and the affects of being horizontal for extended periods. Long deep space travel would require hibernation periods with humans basically lying in bed for months.
Now NASA is asking for volunteers to simply lie in bed for 70 days so they can study what happens to the body when it's in that position.
They will pay those chosen up to $10,000 for staying in bed and not getting up. You can watch TV, play video games, get on the internet....you just can't stand up!
TOPIC OF THE DAY! "Would you be willing to lie in bed for 70 days for 10K"?

It's Friday the 13th and for some this is a difficult day! For most though it's a fun day!
For me, I was born on Friday the 13th so I guess it's NOT so unlucky for me. If you have a fear of the number 13, you suffer from triskaidekaphobia. Many think that's the fear of Friday the 13th but it's just the number "13".
Others look forward to the day for a chance to see one of the movies that bear the name.

So we loved her on "Heroes" as we're told that if we saved her, then we'd save the world! Now, we can't get enough of her and the lady from American Horror Story? (Season 1) in ABC's "NASHVILLE"!
Now, Hayden Panetierre is having a tattoo removed. No biggie right?
Well, the ink in question says "Live Without Regrets" so I guess she's not very committed to that! LOL
So, our TOPIC of The Day on Facebook is this:
"What are some regrets you have that you're comfortable sharing"?
Hopefully they won't be filled with irony as is Ms. Panitierre's tattoo removal.
A recent study conducted by 60 Minutes and Vanity Fair magazine says that even though we know we can't, we'd love to bring back some of our favorite celebrities from the dead.
Leading the pack, Lady Dianna with over 35%. Others mentioned were Heath Ledger, James Gandolfini (who just passed in June) and others. We feel like we know these people from their body of work, so we actually miss them!
Who would you like to see returned? It's out TOPIC OF THE DAY.
